NACCO Materials Handling Receives Safety Awards

July 23, 2010—The Greenville, N.C. manufacturing facility of NACCO Materials Handling Group, Inc. has received two safety awards from the N.C. Department of Labor. This is the sixth year in a row that the plant, which produces Yale and Hyster brand lift trucks, has been given the Gold Safety Award and the Million Hour Award.

January 15, 2010 — J.R. Merritt Controls, Inc., Stratford, Conn., introduces the FSBD fully adjustable rotating operator armchair, whose design evolved out of the growing need to comfortably accommodate operators of all statures. System consoles feature numerous adjustments for comfort and adaptability to the given work environment. The consoles adjust in all directions: incline up/down, move forward/back, along with toward and away from the operator. The FSBD system also makes independent height and up to 90-degree swing of each console possible.
