Mitsubishi Introduces Mid-Size Forklift Truck Line

— Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks, Houston, Texas,
has introduced a new line of mid-size internal combustion, pneumatic tire
forklift trucks. Offered in five capacities ranging from 8,000 to 12,000 pounds,
the trucks are designed for heavy-duty applications, such as lumber, cement, and
pipe. Several new product enhancements will also be offered to customers as part
of the existing Class 4 and 5 product lines.

Tire Forklifts, FG40N – FG55N LP Gas and FD40N – FD55N Diesel
The
8,000- to 12,000-pound capacity FG40N – FG55N LP Gas and 8,000- to
12,000-pound capacity FD40N – FD55N diesel forklifts are designed with
heavy-handling features which allow for the forklift’s use in outdoor
environments and rough surface condition. The machines come with two-speed
forward and one-speed reverse transmission standard, and EPA-compliant envirO2
engines® to ensure performance across a wide range of applications.
They are equipped
with a spacious, state-of-the art design operator compartment, and Mitsubishi’s
Engine Protection System (EPS), which helps prevent overheating by automatically
reducing RPMs if engine coolant temperatures get too hot. A variety of options
is available, including ground speed limit, operator comfort enhancements, air
intake pre-cleaner, wide load backrests and side shifters, panel cab and an
orange seat belt.

Cushion-Tire Forklift, FGC15N – FGC33N
In the 3000- to 6,500-pound
capacity range, including models FGC15N – FGC33N, feature optimal travel and
lift speeds for efficient movement over longer travel distances; a new digital
display designed to showcase vital information at the operator’s fingertips; and
a drive-by-wire-throttle for
enhanced fuel efficiency, reduced emissions and responsive acceleration. The machine also has a high-performance
envirO2 engine which features low CARB and EPA emissions, and it also features a variety of options,
including a swing down LP tank bracket, full suspension seat, foot directional
controls, orange seat belts, and application packages.

Tire Forklift, FG15N – FG35N / FD20N – FD35N
With capacities
ranging from 3,000 to 7,000 pounds, the IC pneumatic tire forklifts Models FG15N
– FG35N / FD20N – FD35N feature maneuverability and lift and lowering speeds,
and the Integrated Presence System (IPS) is designed to help manage risk by
temporarily disengaging the drive and hydraulic functions if operators leave the
normal operating position. The machine’s new LCD/LED display panel features
operator passcode protection and key indicators for fluid and fuel levels,
travel direction and more. The forklift also has customized options available,
including a swing-down LP tank, full-suspension seat, foot directional control,
fuel saver mode and debris resistance protection.
