Charles Minot Represent Winkle Industries in California


July 20, 2010 – Mark Volansky, director of sales for Winkle Industries Inc., Alliance, Ohio, has appointed C.O. Minot & Son as Winkle’s sales and service representative in California. “Charles Minot has established an outstanding record for positioning himself as a ‘go-to’ resource for customers requiring heavy material-handling and processing equipment,” Volansky said. “We are proud to have someone of his experience in California to introduce our ‘end-to-end” capabilities for engineered productivity solutions.”

 

Based in Pasadena, Calif., Minot has been servicing steel mills, steel service companies, and paper mills in Southern California since 1997, when he joined the family business first established by his father. “Customers have learned over the years that they can rely on me to come through with the solutions they need for any requirement in their shear operations,” Minot said. “Winkle’s complete ‘one-stop’ capability for mill-duty material-handling systems is an ideal complement to my business approach.”

 

Along with Winkle’s engineered devices, parts, and services for above-the-hook, below-the-hook, and on-the-ground material-handling operations, Minot also will represent the field support and maintenance programs of LiftTech Industrial Services. “Customers have already expressed interest in working with us to develop an integrated approach to planned equipment inspections and service,” Minot reports. “This is the kind of value-added service that helps to differentiate my business from basic equipment sales.”
